Built for garages, extensions and everything above them
Most of the flat roofs we're asked to look at fail for the same handful of reasons: a sagging deck, poor falls, or a covering that was never right for the job. When we quote for a new flat roof we start underneath, not on top — because a new covering over rotten timber just hides the problem for a year or two.
We install flat roofs on garages, kitchen extensions, porches, dormers, outbuildings and commercial units across Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and the wider Birmingham area. Where the roof carries foot traffic or sits under a bedroom window, we'll steer you towards the system that copes best — not the one that's easiest for us to fit.
Every job finishes the same way: the roof photographed, the site tidied, and your guarantee handed over in writing. If something's not right, you call us and we come back. That's how a local family business stays busy for 30 years.

Common questions
A properly built flat roof using modern systems should last 25–40 years. The lifespan depends on the system and the quality of the deck underneath — which is why we always strip back and check the timber first. Our work is backed by guarantees of up to 20 years.
There's no single right answer, and we'd be suspicious of anyone who says there is. EPDM is our most-recommended all-rounder for homes. Torch-on felt suits bigger commercial areas well. GRP fibreglass gives a hard, joint-free finish on smaller roofs. We'll show you samples and explain the trade-offs for your specific roof before you decide.
Usually, yes — and we'd encourage you to be wary of quotes that don't include it. Overlaying can occasionally work on a sound deck, but the only way to know the condition of the timber is to look at it. If the deck is sound, we'll tell you and price accordingly.
Absolutely. Porches, bay roofs, dormers and single garages are everyday work for us — you'll get the same survey, the same photographed job and the same written guarantee as a large project.
